Hospital
Niobrara Valley Hospital (NVH), located in Lynch, is licensed for 20 beds. NVH
is accredited by Medicare and the State of Nebraska. A hospital expansion, including
patient room rennovations, was completed in 1996. Niobrara Valley Hospital is
a full-service, critical access hospital. NVH also provides outpatient specialty
clinics and durable medical equipment. For more information or to inquire about

Medical Clinics
Niobrara Valley Hospital also operates a medical clinic in Spencer. This clinic
is staffed by Dr. Timea Bor. For more information, call (402) 569-2451.
The Lynch Medical Clinic is staffed by two family practice physicians, Dr. Dale Block and Dr. James Keil. Office hours are: Monday - 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday - 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The clinic is closed from 12-1 every day. Emergency/Ambulance
The Spencer Rescue Unit serves the Lynch community with emergency transportation. It is fully equipped with a defibrillator. The Boyd County Ambulance is also available for transport.
Ponca Valley Court
Lynch has attractive housing, the Ponca Valley Court, for low-income elderly. No bond issue or tax money was required to build the Ponca Valley Court; the project was financed entirely by a loan from the federal government which is repaid through rental fees. The city provides the water and sewer facilities to these comfortable and partly furnished apartments. Residents also may use the community room along with its kitchen facilities for social affairs, family gatherings and entertainment.
